Jose Antonio Cordova Erazo passed away on May 6, 2025 from pancreatic cancer. Jose was born on June 11, 1951 in La Reina, Chalatenango, El Salvador. He served in the El Salvadorian army as a Military Policeman from 1970 to 1976. Jose was a well traveled shipman on commercial vessels in 1978 and traveled the world to destinations like Chile, Cuba, Egypt, The Middle East, Europe and The United States.
Jose was a renowned paramedic in El Salvador before then becoming an American citizen.
Jose was a widow to his amazing wife, Francisca Del Carmen De Cordova. He will be missed by his children and their spouses, Ivette (Daniel Lindner), William (Elu Cordova), Helen (Cristian Gomez), and Kevin (Tatiana Cordova); as well as his grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, Sebastian, Marcos, Jesus, Emely, Alexa, Francisco, Jocelyn, and Fernando.
Jose was a devout catholic who passed away with dignity and love. Jose was also known to friends as Tony, who always put his family first. He was a wonderful dancer who was passionate about music and brought his family together.
Services will be held in El Salvador where he will be buried with his wife Carmen and daughter Elena.
