A resident of California for nearly 50 years, Marcella was born and raised on Long Island, New York where she began her career as a legal secretary, first in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, then moving on to the legal department at RCA in Manhattan, culminating in retiring from Southern California Edison legal in 1986.
She enjoyed her summers on Fire Island and Jones Beach, where she met her husband Arthur (who predeceased her in 1999), with whom she raised three children, Stephen, Mark, and Claire.
No one who met Marcy will forget her ardent passion for her two grandsons, gardening, travel, the NY Times Sunday crossword, the Great American Songbook, and anything British on PBS.
A Graveside Service and interment will be held at Desert View Memorial Park, 11500 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, CA 92392, US, on March 31, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
