Marcos Manuel Robles SR passed away peacefully on November 19th 2024 at the age of 83. Born on April 25th 1941, in El Paso, Texas. He was known for so many things by so many people who showed so much love towards him. Unfortunately, there won’t be enough time to name the infinite amount, but to name a few, most if not all who met him said he was a wonderful, nice and sweetest man. Some even said he was a strong, hard-working, and a “stand up guy” he could be quite the character sometimes, one of the girls at the doctor’s office would call him a trouble maker. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, daughter Cindy and son in law Greg also his son Marcos Jr and daughter in law Lourdes, along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, also by his siblings Cece Nadler and Mary Madrid.
Marcos’s life was characterized by a Western and cowboy lifestyle, always dressing the part, rode horses and watched movies and shows about them. He always enjoyed his Mexican music, especially his favorite Vicente Fernandez. He soon expanded his interest in sports, like football and of course the Dodgers and art, homemade leather work which he went to school for and was great at it and took pride in what he made, he also taught his son in law Greg and together they made patches for the motorcycle set.
Marcos got a job with Acme General in 1965 where he worked in shipping and receiving and eventually was bought by Stanley Hardware and in 1995 after 30 years retired. He moved to Hesperia in 1990 so he commuted for 5 years down to San Dimas along with his carpoolers and the 15 fwy was smooth sailing and Hesperia was not as populated.
