On August 12, 2020 Mary A. Macaulay peacefully passed away at age 90. Mary and her husband Mac were residents of the High Desert for 52 years and members of Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church where they served as Eucharistic Ministers. She was born in Alhambra Ca. In 1954 she served in the Air Force where she met her future husband Mac. Mac was stationed at George Air force base in 1968 and they purchased their home in Apple Valley in 1972. She also worked several years for the United States Post Office in Adelanto.
She is survived by her son John Macaulay, daughter Kathleen Macaulay, daughter in law Lorraine Macaulay, sister Helen Montante, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a woman of devotion and grace and will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
