Nancy Shepard, 68, of Apple Valley, California, went home to be with her lord on January 27th, 2016. She was born in Buffalo, New York, on April 24th, 1947. Nancy graduated from Bell Gardens High School in California. She married the love of her life, Dennis, on September 23rd, 1968. She lived her life for her family. She leaves behind three children: Allan Shepard of Las Vegas, NV, David Shepard of Las Vegas, NV, and Tamra Laughrey of Apple Valley, CA. She also leaves five grandchildren: Mathew Shepard, Travis Shepard, Raymond, “Trey” Laughrey III, Brian Shepard, and Robert Laughrey. Nancy was the oldest of five siblings, and leaves behind Patricia Slaght of Baytown, Tx, Barbara Firkins of Dallas, NC, Robert Norton of Sparks, NV, and Suzan Christianson of Victorville, CA. Nancy had numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was loved and cherished by her family and everyone else who was blessed to have met her. Funeral arrangements will be held at 3:00 PM, on January 30th, 2016, at Desert View Funeral Home in Victorville, CA.
