Olin Robinson

God heard his son whisper and granted him His request to come home and be at rest. Olin Robinson Jr. received his freedom on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 8:00pm as he peacefully slept into eternal rest at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Apply Valley, California. Olin was born in Greenville, South Carolina on January 26, 1929 to the late Olin Sr. and Susan Robinson who preceded him in death. He was the youngest of eight siblings, three brother and five sisters all who, preceded him in death.

He moved to Southern California in the 50’s where he resided until his passing. Olin enjoyed playing his keyboard and listening to music. He was also a vintage car enthusiast. Olin also received his high school diploma from Jordan High School in Los Angeles, California. He joined the Army at the age of 20. Olin earned the rank of corporal and served in the Korean War.

Olin leaves to cherish his memories for 23 plus years Brenda Travis, Olin Robinson III, Jackie Robinson (Christine), Gregory Robinson (Brenda), Julia Taylor (Delford), Toni Dodson (Donald), Charlene Ray (Edward) and Steven Robinson (Denise). A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
