Virginia Henrietta Vallin

Virginia “Ginny” Vallin, 84, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, heart disease, and pancreatitis.

Virginia was devoted to her beloved husband, Robert Vallin, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage until his passing in 2010. Together in heaven, they will be joyfully celebrating what would have been their 68th wedding anniversary on January 6, 2026. Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad.

As the proud mother of eight children, grandmother to 33 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 67 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother to six, Virginia was the cherished matriarch of the Vallin family. Her love, strength, and devotion shaped generations.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vallin; her parents, Henry and Helen Valencia; her daughter, Roberta Negrette; her grandson, Taylor Vallin; her great-grandsons, Joseph Steele and Armando Herrera; her great-granddaughter, Emma Rose Bravo; and her sister, Rachell Valencia.

She is survived by her children: Roberta (deceased) and her husband Mondo; Robert Vallin Jr.; Roselle and her husband Ben; Raul and his wife Anna; Roxanne and her husband Mondo; Rebecca and her husband John; Raquel and her husband Paul; and Ryan and his wife Irene.

Virginia found joy in many simple pleasures. She loved cruising with her husband in his classic antique cars, decorating her home, sewing and crocheting, and antique shopping throughout Northern California with her son Robert and daughter Roselle. She also enjoyed going out to dinner with her children and treating herself to her favorite drink—a margarita. Above all else, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mom, you will be missed more than words can express. We love you deeply and will carry you in our hearts always. Please give Daddy and Roberta a big hug and kiss from all of us. Until we meet again; rest in peace.
