

He was a native of Cameron and had been a resident of Vinton for 60 years. Pee Wee enjoyed shrimping, oystering and was excellent at building shrimp nets. He was a member of Welsh Memorial United Methodist Church in Vinton.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Dorothy “Dot” Clement; two daughters, Katie Soileau and husband Keith “Keto” of Lake Charles, and Diana Johnson and husband Don “Toto” of Sulphur; his brother, Ojust Clement and wife Martha of Vinton; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Michael Clement; a granddaughter, Jody Clement; one brother; and one sister.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, in Welsh Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev. Roger Templeton and Pastor Prentice Burks will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Bridge City, Texas, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday in the church.
