She was a native of Vinton and lived in Lake Charles for over 20 years. Mary loved to crochet, cook, and spend time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Edwin McFarland and his wife Julie, of Vinton, and Kevin McFarland and his wife Lisa, of Deweyville, Texas; sister, Francis Smith; brother, Charlie Breaux; companion Rodney Boudreaux, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray McFarland.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
