Monte was a native of Vinton. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He was a loving son and father.
Survivors include his mother, Drucilla Miller of Vinton; daughter, Miranda Gail Miller of Sulphur, son, Andrew James Miller of Sulphur; the mother of his children Janet Gail Miller of Sulphur; siblings, Ancel Coy Miller of Vinton, and Renee Miller of Hackberry; and his grandmother, Idelle Seay of Sulphur.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ancel James Miller; Maternal grandfather, Paul Seay; and paternal grandparents, A.O. Miller and wife Rena Miller.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2013, in Hixson Funerl Home of Vinton. The Rev. Susil Fernando will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Sunday with a rosary at 7 p.m. and from 8-10 a.m. Monday, all at the funeral home.
