Stella C. Sandifer

She was greeted into heaven by her mother, Lucy Courville; father, Ledon Courville; twelve brothers and sisters, as well as her beloved son, John “Johnny” Farrell Sandifer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tom Sandifer; daughter, Patricia Sandifer Gould and husband, Charles; daughter-in-law, Lavria Heidel Sandifer; four grandchildren, Luke Gould, Dusty Gould, Michelle Sandifer Helmlinger and husband Richie, and John Thomas Sandifer and wife Cheyenne; and seven great-grandchildren, Cassidy Duchmann, Emma Gould, Bethany Sandifer, Kaylee Sandifer, Emily Sandifer, Hayden Helmlinger and Griffin Helmlinger.

Stella touched many lives and will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was very dedicated to praying the Rosary, and a strong follower of her faith.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Friday, July 17, 2015 in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Burial will follow in Niblett’s Bluff Cemetery. The Deacon Jesse Menard will officiate.
