Annie Mae Moore

Annie is predeceased by her parents, Lee and Mattie Johnson and devoted husband Robert Lee Moore Sr., seven brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Jr. (Diane-deceased), Diane, Dennis (Cheryl), Linda Harrell (Edward) ; grandchildren, Deondre, Maurice (Tara), Ebony (Aristotle), Robert Ramone (Ketanya), Rachelle, Derrick, and Reggie; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Quenlyn, Alayiah, Jymeir, Te'leia, J’kye, Nasir, Dominic and Leah. She has a host of nieces and nephews left to cherish her memory.

Annie Mae was born on September 18, 1930 in Scotland Neck, North Carolina. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, and making her home a safe and loving place for all.

Her favorite programs to watch on television were The Waltons, Touched by an Angel, Little House on the Prairie, Wheel of Fortune, and The Washington Commanders Football Team.

A visitation will be held on July 12, 2022 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at New Life Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia (1244 Thompkins Ln, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A graveside service will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Rockville, Maryland (12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD, 20853) on July 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
