Bobby went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Virginia Beach. He is now with his loved ones who have gone on before him. Born on January 6, 1964, he was 50 years old. Bobby was a master mechanic and could often be found helping someone along a road who was having car problems. He was a very giving person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. As a child, he grew up in Ocean View in Norfolk.
Left to cherish his memory are two children, daughter, Beverly McClain White and husband Shawn of Oklahoma, and their children Ivy and Ryan and daughter, Cecila McClain Shikle of Lake Dallas, TX. He’s also survived by his sister, Dorothy Simmons and husband David of Virginia Beach, with their daughter Rebecca Simmons, brother, Ben Blake and wife, Irene of Lakeland, FL and his son Christopher Blake, and sister, Deborah Hill of Cape Charles, VA.
A memorial service will be held at Smith & Williams at 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA, Kempsville Chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10 a.m. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.smithandwilliamskempsville.com.
