He was a proud Marine, served his country in Vietnam, and retired from the Navy after 20 plus years. He enjoyed singing, playing music, riding motorcycles, sailing, reading, practicing martial arts and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, loving father, passionate grandfather, caring brother of 13, and a loyal friend.
A graveside ceremony will be held at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery on Friday, May 20 at 11 a.m. The family will receive guests at the Smith & Williams funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
