Also surviving Curly is his sister, Verna Yoder, and hundreds of cousins, nieces and grand nephews across the United States.
Mr. Byler was a member of the Khedive Temple Masonic lodge having served as Captain of the Motor Patrol and President of the International Association of Shrine Motor Corps. From humble beginnings, Curly became one of Virginia Beach's top residential developers and is known for creating the Larkspur neighborhood as well as many commercial and residential projects. Highly regarded by all who came in contact with him, his good works and memories will live on.
