Virginia Beach - Dorothy "Dottie" Hill, 83, went to be with her heavenly father on May 3, 2016. Dottie was born in Farmville, NC to Clara Fulford Smith and Charlie Mosely Tugwell. She was a loving wife to the late Joseph Hill, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Mitchell Tugwell and Bobbie Donald Tugwell; and nephew, Shaun Mitchell Tugwell.
Left to honor her memory are her beloved nieces, Gina D'Bene and husband Vinnie of Virginia Beach, VA and Tracy Givant of Sacramento, CA. She was also adored by Casie, Jamie, and Shaun, her great nieces and nephew and their children.
Aunt Dottie had a kind heart and was a joy to be around with her quick witt and spunky personality. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sat. May 7, 2016 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jim Morris. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. You may offer condolences to the family at www.smithandwilliamskempsville.com
