E. Carroll Cooke Jr.

Carroll, 62, passed peacefully on May 5, 2022. He was born in Norfolk and later moved to Green Run in Virginia Beach. Carroll graduated from Kellam High School, class of 1978. During his teen years, Carroll enjoyed skateboarding and surfing with his buddies. They were known as the “Bone Team”. Carroll loved his job in the cleaning and restoration industry. His 42 years of knowledge and expertise made him a top notch salesman. He will be remembered as the man with all the answers. Carroll was loved and respected by his coworkers and customers. His motto was “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BS”. Carroll was recently awarded for his outstanding sales in 2021. After a hard day’s work, Carroll enjoyed fishing, his man cave, and popping the top on a cold Miller Lite. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Julie, and his son, coworker, and best friend, Willie. Carroll was preceded in death by his father, Eddie, Sr. and his brothers, Chris and Sean. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis, and his sisters, Denette and Colleen. Our family is truly grateful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends, and caregivers.
