

Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 49 years, Henry “Hank” Eisenbath of Norfolk, VA; son, David Eisenbath and wife Ginny of Matthews, NC; daughter, Deborah Linse and husand Frank of Norfolk, VA; sister, Pat Ackiss of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren; Dalton Eisenbath and Lauren Eisenbath; and three grandkitties; Boo, Jinx and Zipper.
Evelyn was a very devoted wife and mother to her husband and children. She was also a successful Telephone Operator for C & P Telephone Company for 10 years. Evelyn was an active member of The Church of the Ascension since 1972. She loved her church and had a multitude of friends. Her passion to serve others, lead her to cater many weddings and functions for church members, neighbors and friends. She also loved to paint, and was a member of a local art guild, winning many ribbons and awards for her creativity with winter snow scenes and beach scapes. Her joy for the Christmas season; lead to many parties and endless decorating. She always had more than enough, but would have it no other way. Evelyn never met a stranger. She will greatly be missed by many.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 23462. A Mass will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010, 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby St., Norfolk VA 23505.
