 Mom I don't know how I got to be so lucky for you to be my mother,but I am sure glad you were. God gave us the perfect mother and grandmother and you made this world a better place. To The Lloyd Family, You are all in our prayers at this difficult time. Gladys was in my graduation class of 1954 and even though we lost contact with each other over the years, we did have lunch together several years ago and caught up on the news. My husband, Jerry and I had some wonderful times with Gladys and "Lloyd" as we called him, in our early times---50's and 60's. I have such fond memories of spending weekends with the Lloyd family as I was growing up. The family reunion memories of her famous Crab Salad,Maryland Fried Chicken and Succotash are precious to me.
When I talked to her last year on her birthday I asked "Are you still driving Aunt Gladys?" and without missing a beat she repied "Well, the question is...Why Not?" Its memories like that that make me smile. 
To my cousins...the Bible tells us that "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." I have no doubt that she is reunited with her sister and brothers and is at this  very moment planning some grand event up there in heaven. She was a real jewel and I am thankful that God allowed me the privledge of having her as an Aunt.
I pray that the peace of God be with you during this time.

My deepest sympathy to you and your families on the passing of Aunt Gladys.  
She was like a second Mother to me and I will miss her dearly.
She often took me through her life's adventures which were always filled with laughter and tears. 
She was the glue of the Brohawn family always having special occasions so we could all get together and know each other.
I will miss her dearly and am saddened by her passing. 
I know the Angels have a new choir director and she is smiling down on us.
She will always be in my heart.

I will truely miss Gladys. I had the privalige of working with her at Micheals. She was always so spunky and fun to be around. Even after she no longer worked there she still found time to meet with us girls for lunch around the holidays to catch up. My love and prayers are with Gladys's family and friends at this time. Gladys will always be in my heart.

We have such good memories of camping trips and summer evenings sitting around talking.  We will miss you Gladys, the neighborhood won't be the same without you. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Our hearts are with your family.  We will miss your gentle smile and wonderful support.  You were more than just a friend to our family, you were a beautiful part of it.  We will always love you.
