Mr. Twiford was a groundskeeper at Tidewater Community College for more than eight years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include a brother, Bobby L. Twiford, Sr. and wife Margaret of Castlehayne, NC; a nephew Bobby Twiford, Jr., and wife Terrie of Richmond, VA; a special cousin Page Count and husband Tom; and cousins Kenneth, Stanley and wife Nellie, Dicky and Roy Twiford.
A celebration of Mr. Twiford's life will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at D.A.V. 4896 Kempsville Greens Parkway, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23462.
