Joseph Abo Salih

A native of New Orleans, LA he was the son of the late Naseep and Eva Salih. Mr. Salih retired as an aircraft mechanic from Norfolk Naval Air Station after 39 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII; a member of Kempsville Masonic Lodge No. 196, Virginia Beach; Khedive Shrine, Chesapeake; Norfolk Valley Scottish Rite Bodies 32° Mason and a Past Patron of Kempsville Chapter No. 173, Order of the Eastern Star.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Willie Watson Salih; sister, Adele Streeck of LA; and a grandson, Joseph Norman Salih of Virginia Beach.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm, Saturday, December 22, 2012 with a service to follow at 1:00 pm at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at Kempsville Masonic Lodge, 4869 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach.
