

Mr. Villareal was born in Dumaguete City, Philippines on November 6, 1926. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was a co-founder of the Kahirup Filipino-American Support Group. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inocencia M. Villareal and three children Jesse Christopher, George and Clarisse. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after proudly serving for thirty years. After retiring, he went to Tidewater Community College and earned his Associates Degree in Automotive. He was kind and compassionate, a devoted family man with a great sense of humor and integrity. He was known throughout his neighborhood for his love of gardening and sharing the vegetables he had grown.
He leaves behind his loving and caring daughters Margarita Truelove and Wanda Crisostomo and husband Rey; six grandchildren, Clarissa Mae Truelove, Jessica Christine Truelove, Christian, Sandy, Jason and Dave Crisostomo; one great grandson Franco.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 4, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Princess Anne Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 5th, 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church at 1803 Columbia Ave, Norfolk. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502, behind Sentara Leigh Hospital. Reception immediately following the burial at Habachi Grill and Supreme Buffet, on Virginia Beach Blvd across from Janaf. Friends may offer condolences at www.smithandwilliamskempsville.com
