Louise Rapp Allen, 83, passed away April 8, 2015. She was born July 3, 1931 in South Norfolk to the late Herbert Henry Rapp and Oneida Dale Rapp. Mrs. Allen was a graduate of South Norfolk High School and attended DePaul School of Nursing. She resided in Virginia Beach most of her adult life. Mrs. Allen was employed in retail management with Hofheimer’s, she was an Army wife, a cancer survivor and a true warrior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Pauline Hannah and a grandson, Mark Tisdale.
Left to cherish her memory are her children David K. Allen and wife Julie, Daniel L. Allen and wife Kathy, Susan Allen Tisdale and husband Brad, Eric B. Allen and wife Gina; grandchildren David Allen, Steven Allen, Griffin Allen, Benjamin Allen, Megan Allen, Sarah Allen Routsis, Adam Tisdale, Christopher Tisdale, Colin Allen, and Evan Allen; great-grandchild Stella Routsis; sister, Barbara Jones and brother, Val Rapp, Sr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
