Mrs. Cahill was born in Queens, New York and resided in Virginia Beach since 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Dannenhoffer and Beatrice Ernst Dannenhoffer.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-eight years, CDR. Edward H. Cahill, U.S. Navy, Ret., a daughter, Suzanne M. Rodman and husband, Dwain, a grandson, Jason T. Rodman and wife, Stacey and a great grandson on the way.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home Kempsville Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Chapel By The Sea, Dam Neck Annex, 1912 Regulus Blvd., Building 503, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23451. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Suffolk, Va.
