Mary Cleo Gray

Mary Cleo Gray, 91, passed away on May 16, 2022. She was born in Wilson, NC to the late Leslie and Katie Bridgers. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Aragona Church of Christ. For over 30 years she was a cashier at the Navy Exchange, NAS and in her spare time she volunteered for Sentara Hospice. Cleo was very loving, spunky, and still remained active until the end. She loved and cherished her family but above all else she loved the Lord and was always willing to share the word of God. Cleo was predeceased by her former husband, Robert Gray; and 2 sons, William L. Gray, Sr and Robert A. Gray. Left to cherish her memory are 2 grandchildren, William L. Gray, Jr, and Leslie Ann Gray; sister, Leslie Ann Pleasant; numerous nieces and nephews who she spent a lot of time with. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2-4:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 3:00 PM in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation to Aragona Church of Christ.
