VIRGINIA BEACH- Nancy L. Dozier, 75, formerly of the 1100 block of Candlewood Drive went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2010.
She was born August 8, 1934 in Washington, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Jack” Dozier and her daughter, Jacqueline “Jackie” Powell.
Survivors include a brother, Elmer “Bud” Lilley; three grandchildren, Jennifer Smith and her husband, Tony; Joseph “Joey” Powell; Kelsey Otwell and her great-grandchildren, Jackson and Shelby; an aunt, Sallie Moore; and several nieces and nephews, Debbie Cox and her husband, Gary; Laura Sage and her husband, Bob; Dot Ambrose and her husband, Leonard; and Cindy Norman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 5, from 6 to 7 p.m., in Chapel of Community United Methodist Church, followed by a celebration of Nancy’s life at 7:00 p.m. by The Rev. DeBorah F. Barnwell. Parking in rear of church.
