Philip Walker Forehand

Philip W. Forehand of Virginia Beach passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 87. Was born on October 10, 1936 in Chesapeake, Virginia and grew up in South Mills, North Carolina. He graduated from Camden County High School in 1954. Retired as a stock checker with 53 years at the Norfolk Assembly Ford Plant in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church since 1967. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances H. Forehand, parents Thurman P. and Julia L. Forehand, sister Jeannine Haskett and brother Thurmon P. Forehand, Jr. He is survived by his son Joseph P. Forehand, daughter Julia F. Claytor, 5 grandchildren Sean Forehand, Emily Harihan, Jennifer Hendrix, Nick Claytor, Noah Claytor, 10 great grandchildren, sister Virginia Winslow, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Community United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 am, reception to follow in the social hall.
