Pilar was a devout Catholic and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Kawit Association of Virginia Beach. She won the hearts of many with her constant nurturing, love and faith. Her kindness and generosity combined with her sense of humor will be truly missed.
Pilar is survived by two daughters and their husbands: John and Christine Hlusko of Fredericksburg, VA and Gerry and Phyllis Bautista of Virginia Beach, VA. She also is survived by three grandchildren: Paul and his wife Krystal, Chris, Tori and two great grandchildren Luna and Wade.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 6:00 PM with a wake at 7:30 PM at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday October, 16, 2013 at 12 PM presided by Father Tim at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 1396 Lynnhaven Parkway with burial to follow at Rosewood-Kellum Memorial Park, 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA.
