Rosemary King Rooks

Mrs. Rooks, 77, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Rosemary loved the Lord. She was a loving wife and mother, and she adored her twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Rosemary retired from the Virginia Employment Commission in 1994.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband and caregiver, Albert Rooks, her beloved furbaby, Lil'Bit, and her six children, Lisa Gregory, Myra Labens (James), Barbara Hollis (Wayne), Alice Livesay (John), James Rooks (Vicki) and Bill Rooks. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her best friend Gertrude Rooks.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Operation Smile.
