Stanley John Sobolefski

Mr. Sobolefski was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mary Sobolefski, his first wife Kathleen Grace Flewellen. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 15, 1949. He graduated from Pittston Area High School Class of 1967. He retired as a Command Master Chief Petty Officer after twenty-seven years of service with the U. S. Navy. He was a Viet-Nam and Desert Storm veteran.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty years Mary Elizabeth Sobolefski; five children, Dana Robinson and her husband James, Kimberly Johnson, John Sobolefski, Eric Sobolefski and Henry Sobolefski and his wife Tybee; seventeen grandchildren, Adina, Darrell, Jade, Nocona, Laemedon, Kyle, Kayla, Kameron, Kalette, John, Jenavie, Jeweliana, Tristin, Gracie, Daniel, Justice and Serenity; six great grandchildren, Jaliyah, Jasahnn, Reema, Zaid, Amir and Malakhi, one sister Audrey Kurz and her husband Frederick.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA. Burial at sea will be conducted by the U.S. Navy.
