Zachariah Adrian Lloyd, age 50, of Portsmouth, Virginia passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Elizabeth Lloyd Brown and Thomas Waverly Lloyd. Zach earned a Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Informatics from Grand Canyon University. He spent a number of years teaching young children in outdoor activities, like camping, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing; he also assisted in teaching senior citizens basic computer usage and recreational activities. Everyone knew he was a good hearted person and would help people without question. He loved to play video games and the guitar. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Zachariah is survived by his mother Elizabeth Lloyd Brown; his brother Jesse Lloyd, his brother Richie Lloyd and his sister Cora Ardele Lloyd; his aunt Lori Wheeler, his uncle Bill Jones, his aunt Kathy Martin and his uncle Christopher Lloyd. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Zachariah was preceded in death by his father Thomas Lloyd; his aunt Joanie Jones.
A visitation for Zachariah will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Smith & Williams Funeral Home/Kempsville, 4889 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Zachariah will be laid to rest in Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
