He moved to California in his 20’s, where he served as a Correctional Officer at Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, for many years until retirement. In his retirement, he enjoyed watching action movies and crime shows, and listening to and dancing to Jazz Cubano, Timba, and Salsa music.
Alexis was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two sisters, Catalina Morales and Lesdia Morales, two daughters, Jonna Morales Thompson (Owen) and Candace Morales Miller (Jimmie), a special niece, Tanya McQuaid, and a nephew, Nelson; grandchildren: Cameron, Ridley, Carson, Jazzlynn, and Carter. In addition, he leaves a host of cousins, a great-niece and great-nephew, relatives, and close friends, Teresa, Corey, and Diana.
This memorial serves as his official service. The family of Alexis Morales wishes to express our sincere appreciation for the phone calls, cards, prayers, flowers, and expressions of love shown during our time of sorrow.
