My condolences to the Carrasco family.  Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew him, he was a very special person.  He was a fantastic cook, especially his beans.  May God hold each of his daughters,  siblings (Mike & Amelia), parents and close friends with tender loving hands as the days, weeks go by.  The happiest of memories are the best medicine. My condolence to the Tony Carrasco family.  I met Tony when he worked for the CCC in San Diego.  I remember Tony as a very positive person who always had a great smile and words of encouragement for all.  He loved his work and he especially cared for his crew members.  He would always share his stories about his crew and projects.  He loved life and he loved his family.  I was proud to know him as a friend and a colleague.  Me and my wife Donna (who worked with Tony) will always remember him as a good person who was willing to give his special touch to the moment.  God bless him and we will miss him.   All my prayers and tears are with you as you go thru this terrible experience. Tony was "one of a kind" and a true friend to me and my family. His unselfish giving to the youth of California will always be a torch that we all need to carry in his memory. As always the last time I talked to him he wnted to know about my family. San Diego is a better place because he lived here. He touched my life and ALWAYS carried my back. He was a proud father to his 3 girls and loved his grandkids. And grew to love his son-in-laws. Dona Maria and Don Manuel where held in his highest regards.RIP mi Amigo, you left many friends in the CCC and the Urban Corps of San Diego.

Tony I will truly miss you. You were always there when I called for you. You never said no. When I walk into my mom's house I will see you in the AC you installed for her so she wouldn't be hot in the summer. In her bathroom you installed a walk-in shower so it would be easy for her to get in, although she was not able to use it because she passed before she could see it. You were not only a good friend but I loved you as a brother.May God hold a special place for you in heaven for helping so many people and sharing all that love you gave. To the Carrasco family, Dad,Mom,Connie,Joe Meme and Mike may God give you the strength to surpass this great loss. You are all in My prayers. Our condolences and prayers go out to the Carasco family.  Although I have not seen or spoken to tony in 35 years, When I saw tonys' name this afternoon the first thing that came to me from memory was his laugh. With those memories. I can still see him when we would joke around or when he would jump in that truck.  He would speed off down vine street, of course to help someone.  When the kids heard that truck start up, the ones playing in the street by the old store, (back then kids could play in the street). They would clear off until Tony went buy. In my memory I can still see and hear tony waveing and yelling
"I'll be right back, wait for me" as he sped off.  We had many good times back then.  Just ask his primo Corny. Thats how I will always remember tony.

My condolences to the Carrasco family. I never met Tony but I have know his daughter Celeste for many years. Celeste I am so sorry for your loss. There are really no words that I can say to make a time like this any easier but rest assured your dad is watching over you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I will never forget the family gatherings and especially the Christmas party we had last year. Tony was a very kind hearted jokester who lit the room up and made everything so enjoyable. I will truly miss him as a friend and as my sister-in-law's Father. My heart is with his family through this time of sorrow and loss.

I was sadden to hear the news about Tony. Our families were neighbors growing up on Vine Street. I will always remember his laugh and how he made you feel like you were the only one that mattered. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Amelia my arms are open for you to hold and comfort.

Tony was my supervisor in the CCC in the early 80's.  He will be greatly missed by his CCC friends.
