Tony will be remembered for always “making a short story longer” and never “lowering the flag.” He was a loving father, son, brother and a proud grandfather. An overall selfless man who didn’t know how to say "no". Always the first to lend a hand, Tony was someone you could always depend on. Tony enjoyed fishing, cooking, volunteering, hunting, socializing and being with his family. He was an honoree member of the Veteran Sierra Post #785.
Tony is survived by his three daughters, Celeste (Jeremy) Rhyner, Daniella (Jared) Dean and Marlena Carrasco. He is also survived by his parents Manuel and Maria, siblings Connie, Joe, Amelia, and Mike. He was the proud grandfather of Sierra Dean and Jordan Rhyner. Tony is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tony will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he has touched. He made a lasting impression on countless people he had come across.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Miller Memorial Chapel at 6:30 p.m. A celebration of Tony’s life will be honored on Friday at the Veterans Memorial Building.
