Becky Jane Barton

Our Mother, Becky Snider Barton passed away on Friday, March 25. Mom was born in Delano, Ca to Robert Denman (Denny) Snider and Billy Altaffer Snider on September 4, 1953, she was the youngest of three girls.

Mom was a loving and dedicated Mother. She had a heart as big as the world. She would sacrifice of herself to help others. Growing up a champion cowgirl taught her to be tough, but all who knew her knew of her caring and loving.

She leaves behind her Sons Anthony Mungia and Bradley Barton her daughter-in-law Lianne Mungia and her two grandchildren Trent and Jayde. She also leaves behind her God Sister Brenda Birdsong and many other people that called her Mom.

She graduated from Delano High in 1971. She rode quarter horses for most of her life. After working for hocking Denton and Palmquist in Delano she was a stay at home mom taking care of her 2 boys. In 1999 she moved to Grover Beach, Ca. where she worked as a manicurist. With her desire to help people she continued her education and went to work as a DME specialist at Dana’s Health Plus Pharmacy. In 2011 she moved back to Visalia, Ca where she spent her last years surround by her family and playing with her grandchildren. Mama, Mimi, Sister, Friend, she had many names. No matter which name you called her by though anyone that knew Becky loved her. She has left us with a legacy of love, perseverance, kindness and Faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11 am at Christ Lutheran, 3830 W. Tulare Avenue in Visalia.
