Brent Bairstow Allen

It is with the heaviest of hearts and immense sadness that we announce the death of one of the most standup dudes to have ever lived. Brent B. Allen was born July 7, 1975 and was tragically killed in a cowardly hit and run on August 11, 2024 while riding his bike. There has never been an unkind word said about this man. Those who knew him, even briefly, immediately recognized his kindness, integrity, and genuineness. His smile and giggle were infectious and his thoughtfulness immeasurable. He loved going to Dead Shows and jade hunting in Big Sur, but his biggest love was watching his daughters play soccer and volleyball. He never missed a game, scrimmage, and rarely missed a practice. Brent worked at BDI, Inc for almost two decades. The love and respect for him throughout his company, as well as in his industry as a whole, is unmatched. His strength of character, honesty and work ethic set a standard that is incomparable. His love and loyalty for his family and friends, especially his two daughters, was boundless and fierce. He was an incredible husband, son, brother, and friend—but the absolute best at being a father. He is leaving behind an unfillable emptiness in the hearts of everyone who knew him, but he will never be forgotten because he made everyone’s life better just by being in them. His legacy of love and kindness will live on through his daughters and everyone whose life he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Allen, his two beautiful daughters, whom he loved more than life itself, Kabria (17) and Sophia (14) Allen of Visalia. His beloved parents, Jack and Sharlene Allen of Visalia. His best friend and brother, Jarrod Allen (wife Elisa Akhtar) of Visalia. His other best friend, Rich Glimpse of Visalia. His mother-in-law, Marilyn Barr. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. And too many friends and loved ones to count. Fare thee well. No, our love will not Fade Away.
