

Cecil was born in Hanford, California on August 2, 1947 to Cecil John Osorio, Sr., and Rosa Mosqueda Munoz Osorio. He graduated from Redwood High School in 1967 and was a member of the Ranger baseball team. Cecil attended and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from College of Sequoias. He went on to attend Fresno State University. Cecil served in the United States Army and after his term he went on to enlist to the United States Marine Corp, serving in Viet Nam where he was honorably discharged. Cecil worked as a truck driver for Swift and various other companies for over 10 years, retiring in 2005. Cecil was of Catholic Faith. He married Mary Alice Miramontes on April 24, 2010 in Visalia, California and they made their home in Tulare. Cecil enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to Oldies music. He was a huge 49ers fan! He was very organized and meticulous in every aspect of his life. His greatest accomplishment was his family; he loved caring for his children and grandchildren. Cecil will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Rosa and two brothers, Sysco Garcia and Joe Garcia.
Cecil leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Miramontes Osorio of Tulare, CA; three children, Cecilia Lillian Osorio of San Antonio, TX, Cecil John Osorio, III and wife Kimberly of Goshen, CA and Lilia Osorio Loving and husband Lee of Visalia, CA. Mary’s children also survive him, Veronica Castro and husband Conrad, David Renteria, and Jesse Renteria and wife Cynthia, all of Visalia and Demitrus Renteria of Tulare; 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 4 – 8 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at North Tulare Cemetery, J Street and Highway 99 in Tulare, CA.
