David Paul Huskey

David was born in Madill, Oklahoma on January 14, 1975 to Hubert Lincoln Huskey, Jr. and Oteka Delores Jones Huskey. He was raised and educated in Madill, graduating from Madill High School where he played football for the Wildcats. David entered the United States Navy and served throughout the United States. Upon his honorable discharge in 2007 he was First Class Petty Officer and had earned many medals, ribbons and commendations during his service career. David attended various colleges during his service time. In 2009 David moved his family to Visalia to make their home.

He enjoyed heavy metal music, cars, tinkering and spending time on the lake.

David loved his children dearly and enjoyed the many hour spent together with family and friends. He had a dry sense of humor and was a quiet and reserved man. But if you needed anything David was there to help. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his four children, Dylan, Skyler, Makenzie and Reese, all of Visalia; two sisters, Tana Paramore of Mesquite, TX and Sherry Williams of Madill, OK; numerous nieces, nephew and extended family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Delores and by his brother, Gary.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 3 – 7 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA.
