Dora was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to so many. She was full of life, love and laughter. Her smile would light up any room, but her presence made you feel complete. She had a way of making you feel like you're the most important person. When it came to her grandkids, she was known as Nani, and was adored by all of them.
A member of the Catholic Church and a woman devout in her faith, she enjoyed attending mass in her home city of Visalia and wherever her travels took her from New Jersey and New York to visit family to her travels abroad. She cherished attending mass in the beautiful cathedrals in Rome and Mexico City.
Dora was a force to be reckoned with in the Visalia school system. For more than two decades she held various positions in both elementary and adult education, and touched countless lives in her community.
Her love of cats began when her mother first placed a kitten in her hands at a very young age.
She will be a hard act to follow!
She is survived by her three children Lorraine, Susan and Robert her son-in-law Aaron and daughter-in-law Ellen as well as grandchildren, Jason, Kelly, Kristin, Ysabella, Richard, David, Janna, Rob, Jocelyn, Katherine, Victoria, Isabella and great grandchildren. Also survived by her Nephew Joey his wife Gloria, various other family members in Southern California and her 2 beloved cats Emily and Baby.
Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 12, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church St in Visalia, CA.
