

Ethel was born in Wellston, Oklahoma on January 4, 1923 to loving parents, James Arthur Fisk and Theodocia Perry Fisk. She was raised and educated in Oklahoma and on January 1, 1942, she married Lee Olen Stewart in Oklahoma. In 1943, Lee and Ethel moved to Whittier, California for a short time and then moved to Visalia to make their home and raise their two daughters, Glenda and Beverly. Ethel enjoyed going to Hometown Buffet with her husband Lee where they made many friends. Ethel was a longtime member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and served as Secretary for many years. She loved being a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was very proud or her four grandsons and her great grandchildren. Ethel spent hours sewing, cooking and baking her delicious pies. Ethel also enjoyed her garden and beautiful flowers. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Lee on May 5, 2013. She was also preceded by her parents, three sisters, Lillie Baker, Elsie Wolfe and Gertie Allenbaugh and great grandson Wyatt Coffman.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two loving daughters, Glenda Wadkins and husband, Jerry and Beverly Coffman and husband, Les, all of Visalia, CA;four loving grandsons: Tim McElhaney, Denny McElhaney and wife, Rachel, Kevin Coffman and wife, Mona and Chris Coffman and wife, Adrienne and six great grandchildren, Denny McElhaney, Jr., Michaela Coffman, Mackenzie Coffman, Kaitlyn Coffman, Ethan Coffman and Ryan Coffman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Visalia District Cemetery.
