

It is with great sadness that the family of Florence Katheryn "Kitty" Crissman Peck, announces her passing on December 21, 2017. Kitty was born on June 11, 1923 in Griffithville, Arkansas to parents George Washington Moore and Mary Alice Moore. Kitty moved to Tipton, California at age 23 where she met her first husband, Charles "Buster" Crissman and raised their two sons, Henry Moore and Charlie Crissman. Kitty and Buster were married for 35 years until his passing.
Kitty worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 38 years at many different stations, later running the Porterville office and then the Exeter office until they closed in the 1980's. She married her second husband, George Peck in 1985 and was married for 23 years until he passed.
Kitty resided and was in great care at Casa Grande Senior Care in Visalia when she passed. Kitty lived a wonderful life and enjoyed taking trips to the coast, bowling and taking camping trips in her motorhome where she visited almost all 50 states.
Kitty is survived by her son, Henry Moore and his wife Suzie; son, Charlie Crissman and his wife Jan; step daughter, Patty Barnes; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at Tulare Cemetery, 900 E. Kern Ave., Tulare. Reception to follow.
