Frances Kampen, 86, of Visalia died Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was a faithful wife, mom, Beppe and great grandma who devoted her life to her family as a Godly woman, a loving example of Christ and a wonderful homemaker with a servant’s heart.
Frances was born to John and Gertie Van den Brink in Garden Grove, California on October 21, 1933. On September 16, 1953 she married Henry Kampen the love of her life. They started their dairy business in Artesia, Ca and moved their dairy to Norco, Ca in 1967. They then moved their dairy to Visalia, Ca in 1971 with their seven children where they lived and built a successful business and happy family for 35 years.
Frances was a Charter member of Tulare Community Church and was very active in the church and choir.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband Henry and her infant daughter Greta Clara, her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by two siblings, seven children, eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-5pm Sunday July 26, 2020 at Miller’s Memorial Chapel in Visalia. Services will be at 9am Monday, July 27, 2020 at Tulare Community Church 1820 N Gem St, Tulare, Ca. Burial will be at Tulare North Cemetery.
