Gregorio Rangel Valentin

Gregorio was born to Roman and Magdalena Valentin. After graduating from Mt. Whitney High School in 2003, he went on to serve in the Army. He was stationed in South Korea from 2003 to 2004 and deployed to Iraq in support of the global war on terrorism from 2004 to 2005. At the conclusion of his enlistment, he continued to dedicate his life to the service by joining the Army National Guard from 2007-2022. He was activated numerous times to do anything from fighting wildfires to protecting people and property alike during times of civil unrest. As great as his service was, his proudest accomplishment was raising his son to become the determined and caring man that he is today.

Greg is survived by his son, Dominic, his mother, Magdalena, his girlfriend, Gabby, his sisters Nancy, Leti, and Cristina. He was preceded in death by his father Roman, who passed away in 2020.
