He grew up in Woodlake, CA where he attended school and graduated from Bravo Lake High School in 2016. He then went on to work at TreeSource Citrus Nursery where he discovered his green thumb and his undeniable love of plants. Succulents were his favorite.
Gordo was the baby of the family and was always spoiled by his momma. When he became a father, he was young but so proud and loving. His boys were his pride and joy and he spent almost all of his time with them. He also enjoyed hanging out with a tight knit group of friends he had grown up with and also spent lots of time with his sister Selena, who was his best friend.
Gordo is survived by his parents, his two sons Cain and Hugo J. Torres, his step father Richard Leon, his maternal grandmother Lupe Montejano, his sisters Eddica, Jessica, and Selena Torres, sister in law Araceli Cabrera, brother in law Michael Macias, his nieces and nephews as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Juan Montejano and his brother Edward Jr. Pimentel.
