Jack Hagop Boudakian, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023 in Fresno, California. Jack was born in Visalia, California on August 30, 1939 to Hacher and Mary Boudakian, and was the youngest of five children.
Raised in the Visalia area, Jack enjoyed all things mechanical, especially race cars. The Boudakian Brothers racing team was legendary on the drag racing circuit, and even after the passing of his brothers, Jack continued drag racing up until his final days.
Jack cherished his family and friends. He never missed a sporting event or competition that his children were a part of, and he would do anything for his sisters, Evelyn and Lucille. He was proud “Papa Jack” to his grandchildren, and a loyal friend to many.
This precious man was 83, but young at heart. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed it tremendously. His passing will leave an empty spot in many people’s hearts.
Jack is survived by daughter Jacqueline Boudakian Brueckner, son Brian Boudakian, sister Lucille Margosian, grandchildren Jacob Brueckner and Sydney Oscarson Brueckner, and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Hacher Boudakian, brother Charlie Boudakian, brother Harry Boudakian, sister Evelyn Crowder, brother-in-law Amos Margosian, sister-in-law Kathryn Boudakian, sister-in-law Patricia Boudakian, nephew Aron Margosian, and nephew Randy Boudakian.
