He was a longtime volunteer with the Exeter Police Dept. and a retired plumber with Roto Rooter.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jean Witter of Visalia.
He is survived by his wife Beth Witter, 9 children, 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jim was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 650 N Lovers Ln, Visalia, CA 93291.
