

Jimmy Castillo passed away quietly at his home on December 18, 2011 at the age of 66. Jimmy was born on July 1, 1945 in Dinuba CA and spent his entire life in Tulare County where he retired as a barber from Ernie's Barber Shop in Visalia. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Castillo of 31 years, his daughter Jayme Castillo, son Stuart Castillo, two grandsons Jared Lupian, Crisitian Gonzalez, mother Mercy Castillo, brother Larry, (wife Theresa) Castillo, sister Micaela Leos and numerous nephews and nieces. He was proceeded in death by his father Samuel and two brothers Sammy and Tony Castillo. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cutting hair, watching boxing and rooting for his favorite team the Pittsburg Steelers. Jimmy was well known for his great sense of humor and driving around in his prides and joy, his 1966 El Camino. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Miller Memorial Chapel from 3pm until 6pm. A Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 6:00pm at Miller Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Visalia.
