Jack was a United States Air Force Veteran. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force Jack worked for over 20 years as a Project Engineer at Quad Knoph Engineering.
His hobbies included reading, traveling, hiking and restoring antique cars.
Left to cherish Jack’s memory are his wife, Beverly Smith; daughters, Trudy Thierry and her husband, Ollie of Portland, OR and Bridget Lippold and her husband, Dan of San Diego, CA; grandsons, Jordan and Nick; and granddaughter, Amy.
