Karen Ivonne Heatherly Fiore

Karen was born in Exeter, California on March 31, 1958 to Eldon and Wanda Heatherly. She grew up in Visalia with her parents and siblings. They would love to go camping, fishing and spend time together. She graduated from Redwood High School in 1976 and went on to attend College of Sequoia. Shortly after she was employed with Pacific Bell where she worked for many years. Karen was well known and loved by her co-workers and supervisors. She later married Joe Fiore on October 7, 1983. Karen enjoyed spending time with her Children and Grandchildren. She was very involved in their lives and participated in activities with them. She also had a big heart and cared for animals. Karen enjoyed reading, baking with her children, going to the movies, traveling and going to Pismo Beach and Morro Bay. In winter months she enjoyed going to Nevada City. Karen was attending Calvary Chapel and enjoyed going to Friday night bible study. Most of all, Karen enjoyed times spent with her family and cherished the memories that were made together.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Heatherly and her brother Michael Heatherly.

She leaves behind her family to cherish her memory; Mother Wanda Heatherly of Visalia ,CA. Sister Teresa Kubiak and husband Chris Kubiak of Los Osos, CA; Niece Brooke Kubiak of Los Osos, CA; Step-son Gabriel Cleaver and wife Stephanie Cleaver of Bakersfield, CA; Daughter Denee Fiore of Visalia, CA and Son Stephen Fiore of San Jose, CA. She also leaves behind her Grandchildren Alexander and Dante Vargas, Morgan, JayDenn and KaiDenn Cleaver. Karen had many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 112- W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Visalia District Cemetery.
