Manuel Sonny Herrera

Sonny, as he was known to all, is survived by his four children Virginia, Rachel, Manuel jr. and Felipe. He had 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. As the oldest of 10, he leaves behind 9 siblings - Juan, Carlos, Tony, Teresa, Jenny, Irene, Josie, Sylvia and Fred.

Sonny was a veteran of the US Army. After returning from service, he mostly worked as a ranch hand and agricultural worker. He was a jack of all trades when it came to troubleshooting problems. One of his favorite things to do was play the lottery - He loved going to the casino, and loved to buy his scratchers, win or lose. He loved chillin and he loved his Kansas City Chiefs!

Sonny was truly a good man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, that loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. Rest in peace, Sonny.
