Ora "Bug" was born on February 20,1949 to James Faye Baggs and Imagene Horn. Ora was free spirited, caring and loving women. She enjoyed dancing, singing and telling everyone jokes, she would always tell everyone a joke before they left. She taught her grandkids how to have fun, she made them laugh and look at life like she did. She enjoyed life, and loved everyone around her with her whole heart, she never held a grudge and never stayed mad at someone for long. Her heart was full of love, never hate, she cared deeply for her family and friends.
Bug was a three time cancer survivor, she survived leukemia in 1997 and colon cancer in 2016 and 2020. Though she was faced with so much throughout her life, she was always smiling.
Ora "Bug" leaves behind her husband Jim Bryant of 35 years; three brothers, Earl Baggs, Phillip Martin and Jesse Baggs; two sisters, Sherry Garza and Mary Baggs; two daughters, Debbie O’Conner and Tammy Rokke; two step-daughters, Lois Lopez, and Bernice Wilker; and step-son William Bryant. She had 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren who started calling her "Bug". She loved being their "Bug", it made her feel very special to have her own nickname from her babies. She is preceded in death by her father and mother; brother, Kenneth James Baggs; and her beloved son, David James Bryant who she loved deeply and adored.
Her legacy and life will live on with her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us here on earth, she will forever live in our hearts and all the memories that we have shared with her. So words from Ora "Bug": "Love your family and friends daily and always tell them you love them. No reason to be upset, things will get better, always smile and laugh!"
We love you Ora "Bug", until we meet again, spread your wings and fly high.
